The spiderweb block is a traditional quilt element that is easily adapted to the improvisational style.  Unlike the other things included in this portfolio, this block and this approach is far from original.  Rather it is a classic exercise that many quilters have no doubt enjoyed making.  This is just my rendition.

This quilt was given to a local program that gave quilts to children in the foster care system to have a comfort item that would be their own.
