Day and Night

The sun was the starting point for this piece, coming from a Bee Sewcial improv prompt and then grew into a representation of day and night. The sun’s rays were inspired by Sherri Lynn Wood’s Get Your Curve On quilts, and the grey was an unexpected element that seems to work.
